Privacy Policy

Due Radar (“Due Radar,” “we,” “us”) is operated by WWWebTek. This policy explains what information we collect through dueradar.com and the Due Radar service, why we collect it, and the choices you have. If anything here doesn’t match what you actually see in the product, tell us — we’d rather fix the policy or the product than have them disagree.

Who this applies to

Due Radar is built for parents and guardians tracking their family’s school assignments, chores, and other calendars, and for the children whose information a parent adds. If you’re a parent using Due Radar, this policy covers your account and the records you create for your household. If you’re a child with your own Due Radar sign-in, it covers you too — see “Children’s privacy” below for how that works and how younger children are handled differently.

Information we collect

What you give us directly

• Account information — your name, email address, and password, or, if you sign up with Facebook, the name, email, and profile photo Facebook shares with us.
• Household and child information — for each child you add: first and last name, age, gender, grade or graduation year, school name, and, optionally, the child’s own email address and phone number if you give them their own sign-in.
• Calendar connections — the school portal or calendar you connect for each child (Veracross, Blackbaud, Canvas, Google Classroom, or any other iCal/webcal calendar — a chores chart, an activities schedule, anything with a feed), plus the login credentials or feed link needed to read it. Those credentials are encrypted before they’re stored, and we never display them back to you in plain text anywhere in the app.
• Payment information — if you’re on a paid plan, your card details are handled directly by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Anything you send us — support messages, or documents you upload (a signed form, for example).

What we collect automatically

• Assignment and event data — once you connect a calendar, we periodically check it and pull in assignment titles, due dates, types (homework, quiz, test), and any attached links or study guides — whatever the connected calendar or portal makes available.
• Login and account activity — sign-in and sign-out times, failed login attempts, and the IP address they came from, so we can help spot suspicious activity on your account.
• Email delivery data — the emails we send include a small tracking image and tracked links so we know whether an email was delivered, opened, and clicked. We use this to make sure reminders are actually reaching you, not to build a profile of your reading habits.
• Basic technical data — standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) generated by visiting the site.

We don’t run third-party analytics or advertising trackers on Due Radar today — no Google Analytics, no ad pixels. If that ever changes, we’ll update this policy first.

How we use this information

We use it to:

• pull, organize, and deliver your family’s assignments, tests, chores, or events on the dashboard and in email or text reports;
• send the notifications you’ve asked for — weekly digests, night-before nudges, test heads-ups, and account or billing notices;
• operate your account — sign-in, password resets, household management, and billing;
• keep the service secure and troubleshoot problems; and
• improve Due Radar — for example, understanding which connectors need work.

We do not sell your information, or your child’s information, to anyone, and we do not use it to serve you ads.

Who we share it with

• The school portals or calendars you connect — Due Radar only reads from these using the access you provide; we don’t send your data back to them.
• Facebook — only if you choose to sign up or sign in with Facebook, to verify your identity and email.
• Stripe — to process payments for paid plans, if and when you’re on one.
• Service providers who help us run Due Radar — hosting and email delivery, for example — under agreements limiting them to using your data only to provide that service to us.
• WWWebTek, the company that builds and operates Due Radar, for support and account administration — every email Due Radar sends is also copied internally for this purpose.
• Law enforcement or others, only if required by law, to protect someone’s safety, or to protect Due Radar’s rights, and only to the extent necessary.

We don’t share your data for any other company’s marketing purposes.

Children’s privacy

Due Radar is a tool for parents, and most children in the system never have their own account at all — their information (name, age, grade, school, assignments) is entered and managed entirely by a parent or guardian, who can view, edit, or remove it at any time from their profile page.

A parent can give a child 13 or older their own sign-in, using the child’s own email address; children under 13 are never given a login of their own. If you’re a parent and believe your child has provided us with information in a way you didn’t intend, contact us below and we’ll remove it.

How long we keep information, and deleting your account

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account, it’s deactivated but not erased for 60 days — giving you a window to change your mind and reactivate with everything intact. After 60 days, everything tied to that household is automatically and permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

If you’d rather not wait, “Permanently delete now” is available from the same screen and takes effect immediately and irreversibly. Either way, we’ll email you to confirm what happened.

Security

Passwords are never stored in plain text. Calendar and portal credentials are encrypted at rest. The site is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your family’s information and will tell you if we learn of a breach affecting it.

Your choices

• Access and correction — everything we hold about your household and children is visible and editable from your profile page.
• Notifications — you can turn digests, nudges, and per-child alerts on or off from your notification settings.
• Deletion — cancel (with a 60-day recovery window) or permanently delete your account at any time — see above.
• Questions or a request we haven’t covered — email us below and we’ll do our best to help, including with requests under laws like the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR where they apply to you.

Cookies

Due Radar uses only the cookies necessary to keep you signed in and remember basic preferences. We don’t use cookies for advertising.

Changes to this policy

If we make a material change to this policy, we’ll post the update here and, for significant changes, email account holders before it takes effect.
